8 Ways Your Spirit Guides Are Trying To Communicate With You!

Have you ever felt like your spirit guides were trying to contact you?

What Are Spirit Guides?

 Your guides are loving entities or energies that are here to help guide, teach, and support you on your soul's journey through life. 

We have many different types of guides from angelic, galactic, animal, ancestral plus more….. 

Creating a relationship to your guides will amplify your life tenfold. You will begin to realise that you're never alone and you have all of the wisdom and answers you will ever need to live a life of abundance right within your own heart.

How Do Your Spirit Guides Communicate With You?

1. Physical sensations

One way your guides can show you they are with you is to energetically “touch you” or create a sensation like they are right behind you, in front of you or by your side. 

You could feel a sensation of a presence although you don't see anything with your eyes, or you could feel like you are being held or supported.

If you keep all of a sudden getting goosebumps, feeling hot or cold, or tingling in parts of your body, then this may be because your spirit guides are trying to communicate with you.

As you develop your clairsentient (the “clear feeling” psychic sense) - these sensations may become stronger so you can build a deeper bond with your guides.

2. Sparks of light and colours

All spirit guides vibrate at different frequencies of energy so are able to create sparks of colour or light that you may notice in the corner of your eye or in your mind's eye.

Some particular angels or guides can present themselves to you with a specific colour so as you learn to connect with them more, this may be a way you can start to distinguish who you are communicating with.

This was one of the first ways I realised that my guides were trying to get my attention during a challenging transitional time in my life many years ago. I saw a flash of a coloured light, so I consulted the oracle that is google, and looked it up. The article I found at the time told me that it was spirit guides and they were proud of what I was doing.

3. Recurring Numbers  

Otherwise known as Angel Numbers.

If you have been seeing the same variations of repetitive numbers like 111, 222, 333, 1414, 1717 etc over and over then your guides are trying to communicate with you or offer encouragement.

You may start noticing the same sequence of numbers on car licence plates, doors numbers, or on receipts.

According to numerology, every number has a specific vibration and spiritual meaning. 

So, if you are seeing the same numbers on repeat then you can google the meanings of them and see what they are trying to tell you.

4. Feathers

Feathers have long been associated with spirituality, angels and signs from passed over loved ones.

Unless you live in an Avery, you may not see that many feathers on your path in the same day. So when you do, take heed because you are being sent some love by your guides.

You can also take note of the colour of the feathers as some tend to have different meanings. 

5. Ringing in your ears

Another common sign your spirit guides are communicating with you is if you are experiencing ringing in your ears. 

This may appear as a short high pitched sound that seemingly comes out of nowhere, and is usually the guides trying to get your attention because they can manipulate different frequencies of energy…. and sound is frequency at its best.

So just notice what you were doing, thinking, feeling or saying when you started to hear the ringing in your ears as that may be the reason they were trying to get in contact.

 
6. Animals  

You may start to notice that random animals keep coming into your reality. From spiders in your car, to unusual bugs or insects landing on you. They could all have messages for you, as animals are amazing messengers.

If you are ever curious about an unexpected encounter with an animal in your reality or in your dreams, then  sit quietly and tune into the qualities that you believe they have and what messages they are trying to send you.

Failing that you can always look up spirit animal meanings online and see which description you are naturally drawn to. There will always be a message for you.

7. Messages in Music

Have you ever heard a song that reminded you of your ex all of a sudden? Well this could be your spirit guide letting you know they see you, know what you have been going through and they have your back.

Anytime you turn on the radio and hear a song whose melody or lyrics evokes a strong emotion within you, this could be your spirit guide letting you know they are there.

This can also show up in words or when you open a book to a certain page and a few encouraging words or sentences pop out. 

You may also start to notice this more as you open up your psychic sense of clairaudience (clear hearing) as music and words is one of the main ways your guides are able to communicate with you and for you to receive messages from your soul.

8. Synchronicities

Nothing happens by change and nothing is ever just a coincidence. Your guides will orchestrate synchronicities that will make you wonder in order to show you they are there, or to help point you in the right direction.

They may show you signs to help you make that decision you were sitting on. They may show you the same advert for a course you have to take. Whatever it is, take notice because it's likely something important.

How To Communicate with your Spirit Guides:

If you have been experiencing any of these signs and want to actively start communicating with them, then there are a few things to get started:

1. Ask for guidance or information whilst in Meditation 

Stilling the mind and creating space will allow subtle messages or frequencies to be noticed more, allowing for direct communication to be seen, felt, known or heard.

2. Set and intention to connect with them and start automatic writing

You may want to ask their name, or for a message then just allow the pen to move and write without thinking and notice if you get any clues or words of wisdom when you get out of the way and allow them to work through you.

3. Go into Nature and ask for a sign

Your guides love  using nature to show you signs because they are so connected to all that is. As you go for a walk you can ask your guides to show you a specific sign like “show me a flower” or whatever you want and wait to see what appears.
