Are Your Tattoos Blocking You From Love?

From a psychic energy healer who is heavily tattooed, I am well versed in the energetic imprints and impacts of tattoos and how they can affect you.

After doing my own energy healing work on some of my early tattoos that I attained in a more “unconscious” part of my life, I discovered some shocking truths about how they had been blocking me in my life and in my relationships!

Tattoos carry particular energetic vibrations that influence your personal energy and, consequently, affect aspects of life such as relationships and love. 

Here are a few ways in which some the energetic imprints of tattoos could potentially impact your ability to attract love:

1. **Symbolic Influence:** Certain symbols or images chosen for tattoos may be associated with specific energies or archetypal meanings. If the symbolism doesn't align with your personal values or the energy you want to attract in a relationship, it could potentially create a mismatch or disharmony.

For example if you got a heart lock tattooed on your chest, that may carry an imprint of locking your heart, not allowing anyone in or for you to share your love with anyone again. (yes yes this was me..)

2. **Energetic Flow:** Some belief systems suggest that the placement of tattoos on the body can influence the flow of energy. If a tattoo is seen as creating blockages or disruptions in the natural energetic flow, it might impact how you give and receive love.

3. **Past Experiences:** If a tattoo is associated with a past relationship, has the name of your ex or represents a difficult period in your life, it might carry residual energy and energetic and emotional ties holding you to the past and impacting your openness to love in the present.

For example if you get a tattoo after a break up that unconsciously marks your heartbreak, pain and grief, this could be what you still carry in your energy field preventing you from fully healing and finding a new love. (This was also me .... eek.)

4. **The Tattoo Artist** Just as we are all made up of energy, your tattoo can be influenced by the energy of the person who is tattooing you. As tattoos can be ritualistic in nature and were often used for spiritual ceremonies and carried out by a shaman who had cleansed their energy before the ceremony. However in most modern day tattoo parlors, your artist hasn't gone through a 3 day purge and cleanse before they tattoo you… and therefore can unconsciously imprint unwanted energies or intentions onto your tattoo.

5. **Intention and Meaning:** The intention behind getting a tattoo can influence its energetic impact. If a tattoo is obtained impulsively, or unconsciously it might not resonate positively with your energy or the relationship you want to experience. 

6. **Transformation and Healing:** On a positive note, you may choose tattoos as a form of personal transformation or healing. If a tattoo that is chosen with intention and deep personal meaning can enhance positive energy. In such cases, the energetic imprints may serve as a reminder of a positive and transformative experience, empowerment and love.
