Why Your Relationships Don’t Last (From a Spiritual Perspective)

We are going through a time of accelerated growth as a planet and a species right now. 

So if you chose to be incarnated on earth at this time then you have signed up to be a part of that change, and that could be why your relationships don’t last. 

Let me explain…..  

We are all spiritual beings and many of the people that have chosen to incarnate on the earth at this time have signed up to help raise the frequency and consciousness of humanity and our planet, because it has fallen into a state of disarray with control, fear and suffering ruling for decades. 

We need to move from the old fear based paradigm of separation and disconnection to a place of unity, connection and unconditional love. But in order to do this, we first have to do this within ourselves. 

We need to bring to our awareness and heal all of the places we feel wounded, suppressed, in fear, shame, or unworthiness that is blocking us from reaching our truest potential and living as our authentic selves.

…. and there’s no better place to quantum leap our spiritual growth, than from the lessons and reflections of our wounds and shadows that our closest and most challenging relationships will always show us! 

It’s up to us to view our relationships as the gateways they are to our ascension! 

Relationships Equal Evolution

Many of the people that are here to help heal the planet or who are going through a spiritual awakening will notice that many of their relationships or friendships begin to fall away or don’t seem to last.

This is because your soul has chosen to evolve at an accelerated rate in order to be of service to the world, and that means healing and transforming lifetimes of wounding and karma and learning the lessons you have chosen to learn in this lifetime in order to grow. 

For many of those on this spiritual journey, the quickest route you have chosen to do this is through experiencing a series of catalyzing connections. 

Mirror, Mirror On The Wall

All of our relationships are a mirror for the unhealed parts of ourselves. They can help us see the blocks, wounds, shadows, patterns and behaviours that create blocks in our life and stop us from reaching our fullest potential. 

Our relationships are here to help heal us, show us love, to point to the places we aren’t loving ourselves, to give us hope, support and to learn profound soul lessons to understand ourselves at a deeper level, if we choose to view them from this perspective. 

We are ALL here to be catalyzed from a place of internal disconnection, back to connecting with who we truly are. So that we can transcend into an all loving state of being and hold the highest standard for ourselves and therefore the rest of mankind. 

Learning Lessons and Clearing Karma 

Our relationships help teach us the lessons we are here to learn as a soul in order to evolve, and we have come here to work through some big themes within this lifetime. 

We have also carried over unlearned lessons and karma from past lifetimes and that have been passed down our ancestral line. These can show up in our relationship patterns, behaviours, dynamics and soul contracts that can come in the form of our lovers, friends, work colleagues, clients, bosses, family and foes in our current reality. 

So, just notice what kind of patterns or challenges you keep recreating out with the different people in your life. 

Chances are, these are karmic relationships and are here to help you resolve past vows, contracts or to learn the lessons you haven’t quite been able to fully integrate and complete in past lifetimes.

Many of us will find that once the karma is cleared, and once the soul lesson has been learned, the contract you had with that person will end, and the relationship will either transform or be released completely.

With so much spiritual growth happening right now, and so many more people “waking up” than ever before in human history, we are seeing more and more relationships going through profound changes.  

Let’s Break The Stigma 

So, let’s break the stigma that if you are single or not in a long term relationship, that you have somehow failed, are flawed or aren’t evolving spiritually, despite doing the inner work. 

Let’s break the stigma and be more compassionate to ourselves that if you have been letting go of old friendships, jobs or outdated relationships to other things in your life that there is something wrong.

This could mean that something is RIGHT and you are following your unique path of ascension by experiencing the many colours of the relationships in your life.

If you have asked at a soul level to go through rapid growth in this lifetime, perhaps you need to be catalysed by many people to reach this level of self awareness. 

Just know that you have attracted the “perfect” people to help you self-actualise and ascend at each stage of your journey. 

And if you are looking for a romantic soulmate then know that everything is in DIVINE TIMING. As you have agreed to experience rapid soul growth in this lifetime, so has your soulmate… and you will both be free to come into union at the perfect time when you are both vibrating at an aligned frequency to become a match to each other. 

Soul Agreements

Many of our relationships in this lifetime were agreed upon by decisions you both made when you were born. Soul agreements are made with past life connections that both have a desire to heal old karma or to learn lessons to grow. 

Each relationship has been agreed upon in order to be a catalyst for our highest growth through the experiences we have chosen to undertake with each person. 

These experiences could be positive, supportive and empowering OR they could be fuelled by pain, suffering and trauma. 

Sometimes that connection may only last a few weeks or sometimes years. Once you have experienced what you needed from each other, understood and healed the connection or learned the soul lessons, these contracts will either end or transform. 

If you fail to learn the lesson that they were here to teach you, then you will end up repeating it with another until you do.

If you develop the skills and awareness in order to recognise the significance of these types of relationships in your life, then this will fuel your spiritual and personal growth exponentially.  It will help you to live authentically, discover your soul purpose and attract soul mate connections that are here to support you through unconditional love, and an aligned mission.

All of your relationships (friend or foe) are here to show you the way back to yourself.
